Brenatta Bridges is a remarkable individual with a passion for sports, community service, and caring for others. With a deep love for women’s softball, Brenatta played the sport for 14 years, demonstrating her skill and dedication. She also had the honor of being part of her high school’s first girls’ track and field team, as well as the inaugural girls’ basketball team at Fair Park High. These experiences instilled in her a sense of teamwork, perseverance, and the drive to excel.
Brenatta pursued higher education at Monroe College, where she earned an associate degree in computer science, expanding her knowledge in the field. Alongside her academic pursuits, she has been a bus operator for over 35 years, serving her community with dedication and ensuring the safe transportation of passengers.
Community involvement holds great importance to Brenatta, and she actively volunteers for New York City on occasion. Additionally, she has contributed her time and support to the Special Olympics in Westchester, further highlighting her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
As a caring individual, Brenatta embraces the role of a drop-in caregiver to her nieces, nephews, and friends’ children. She has opened her home to family and friends in need, demonstrating her selflessness and nurturing nature. Currently, she works with children aged 5 to 13 in Manhattan, enjoying the opportunity to positively influence their lives.
Beyond her professional and community engagements, Brenatta finds joy in traveling across the country to witness the diverse landscapes of America. Connecting with her spiritual brothers and sisters is an essential part of her life, as is spending time with her cherished family and friends.
Married to her beloved husband for 29 + 6 years, Brenatta shares a deep and enduring love with him. Their bond serves as a source of strength, support, and happiness in her life.
