Cherelle Mathis

Founder

Cherelle Mathis is an avid lover of sloths, avocados, and learning. She graduated magna cum laude from CUNY Herbert Lehman College with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature, where she distinguished herself as a Presidential Scholar and a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Chi Alpha Epsilon. Cherelle’s dedication to academia led to the publication of her paper, which critically examines racial disparity and antiquated teaching methods in collegiate literature. Passionate about education, she volunteers as a tutor in Chemistry, English, and Math, making a positive impact on students’ lives. Cherelle is also a certified teacher’s assistant in special education, while simultaneously pursuing her second bachelor’s degree in bio medicine. Her ultimate aspiration is to become a Doctor in General Medicine and pediatric oncology, driven by her lifelong dream. As a staunch advocate for the differently abled, Cherelle has been recognized with numerous scholarships for her outstanding achievements. She cherishes her role as a loving mother to her 13-year-old son with Mosaic Downs Syndrome and her faithful Cockapoo companion named Ace.
